This season, for the first time, I had the honor of watching the runway show of Issey Miyake during Paris Fashion Week. The free and experimental spirit of Issey Miyake-feeling was felt during the show. Using irregular shapes and colors is what I like mostly about Issey Miyake. On the show notes: Issey Miyake describes the technic that he uses as “Cut & Slick” fabrication, in which he combines two different fabrics and creates innovative and flexible texture. The other important highlight of the collection was the Sony-developed handbags that changes the colors in the models’ hands. Overall, for me, it was one of the shows that pushes the border and widens my point-of-view once again.
