Bizim gezimiz tamamen yemek, uyumak ve içmek üzerine kuruluydu. Ama yine de Lizbon’a gelmişken önemli müzelerini görmeden olmazdı. Benim ilgimi çeken iki müze oldu.
Our trip was all about dining, wining and sleeping. But of course, we had spared some time to experience the art scene of Lisbon. I had 2 personal favourite art spaces.
Museu do Design e da Moda
Rua Augusta 24.
The first recommendation is a fashion and design museum called Museu do Design e da Moda aka MUDE. I really enjoyed the permanent collection of Francisco Capello which is exhibited here. The collection is a mix of furnitures, costumes and other industrial designs. The pieces were curated in chronological order since 1927. You can see how the important historical facts have been effecting the mentality of design. From Christian Dior to Le Corbusier, this collection contains so many masterpieces in history.
The architecture of museum is whole another story. It is very raw and smartly designed. Another note: The entrance is free for the museum.
Berardo Collection Museum
Praça do Império.
LX Factory
R. Rodrigues de Faria 103.

These were the places and things I could remember from our trip to Lisbon. But it is very likely to discover another cool spot just around the corner in Lisbon. The city is attracted by the young crowd since it is moderately cheap. Naturally, where there is youth, there is creativity, then there are dozens of hip places. Maybe it is the farthest city in Europe, but you should give a chance to this lovely city and visit soon. Maybe even tomorrow? The weather in Lisbon is still amazing!
